Store First Launches Charity Locker Giveaway

Our Blackburn storage centre has signed up to take part in the Pendleside Hospice Corporate Challenge to compete with local businesses to raise as much money as possible for charity.

And our first fundraising activity is well underway, as our Blackburn storage centre is inviting everyone to guess the number of a locker which is hiding some fabulous prizes to be scooped by one lucky winner. 

Entries can be made in our Blackburn storage centre, over the telephone or by email.

To enter via email, follow the two steps below:

1. Donate a minimum of £2 to our JustGiving page:

2. Email a screenshot of your donation to blackburn@storefirst.com and they will provide you with a list of available locker numbers to choose from.

The locker competition is the first in a series of fundraising efforts taking place across our Blackburn and Burnley storage centres.

The two stores are also handing out clothes donation bags to customers, which can be filled with old clothing (including rags) and donated to local Pendleside Hospice shops or recycled.

If you have clothing you would like to donate, simply ask the team at either our Blackburn or Burnley storage centres and they will provide bags which can be filled and returned to either location.

Pendleside Hospice's annual Corporate Challenge takes place during the months of June, July and August. It sees local businesses going head to head with each other in a quest to raise the most money for the charity.

Pendleside cares for people with life-limiting illnesses, their families and carers; by delivering specialist and holistic palliative care, which addresses their individually assessed physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs.
