Jordan Jenkinson, sales Assistant at Store First Burnley. 

Before working here, what was the most unusual or interesting job you’ve had?

Support worker, caring for four people with a range of disabilities.

If you could swap jobs with one person in the company, who would it be and why?

Toby Whittaker. Because he owns the company.

What’s your favourite film/film quote?

What’s your proudest moment at Store First?

Every time I get good feedback from a customer when doing a free pickup.

What is an interesting, random fact about yourself?

I got the chance to go to South Africa and have a tour around the house Nelson Mandela grew up in and sat on the bed in the prison cell he was kept in on Robben Island.

Do you have a work nickname? What is it?

Brew maker.

What’s your most embarrassing moment at work?

Haven’t had one yet.

What’s your favourite place to travel to?

Blackpool (England) or Amsterdam (Netherlands).

How do you define success?

Having no stress in work life and personal life. Having the money to do things that make you happy.

If a film was made of your life, who would you want to play you and why?

Ryan Reynolds. Because he can make my life look interesting and funny.

If you could be any person in history for a day, who would it be and why?

Phil Brooks (CM Punk), because I would be using his body so I/he would make a return to WWE.

If you could interview any person in history, who would it be and why?

Phil Brooks (CM Punk), because I would love to interview him about his life and career. Interesting guy.

If you could only drink one drink for the rest of your life, what would it be and why?

Coke Vanilla - full sugar - because it's not available in England anymore, so I would cherish the moment every single day when I open every single can.

If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be and why?

KFC, because I love chicken. And KFC gravy.

If you could be an animal for a day, what animal would you be and why?

Silverback gorilla, because they’re a majestic animal.

If you were stuck on an island and could only take 3 things with you, what would they be and why?

1. Lighter (for fire). 

2. Water (I don’t like drinking salty sea water). 

3. My phone with every song I’ve ever known.

Tell us something about yourself that people would be surprised to know.

I am a massive WWE fan. My knowledge of the company is of an advanced level.

Tell us a little about you and your family.

I am part of a family of seven children - six boys and one girl. At home, we also have three pugs and a Jack Russell.

Who is your idol and why?

Phil Brooks (CM Punk), because he is the greatest wrestler ever in my opinion. 

He scraped and clawed his way to the top of the industry. Provided me with years of entertainment. Spoke his mind. Doesn’t drink. Doesn’t smoke. Doesn’t do drugs. 

Admirable in an industry surrounded by such things.

What is your guilty pleasure?

Eating chocolate and doughnuts in bed.

What’s your favourite TV show?

The Office US.

What’s the oldest thing in your fridge?

Probably a sauce at the back of the fridge that nobody likes. Marmite maybe.

Do you play any instruments or have any talents or hobbies?

Can’t play an instrument. I am a very talented singer (behind closed doors where nobody can hear me). I like to go on drives when the weather is nice or just relax and play video games.

Do you have any weird phobias?

Cellotape. The sound and feel of it goes through me and gives me goosebumps. I still tend to use cellotape when needed. I just don’t like touching it if I can help it. 

If you could choose only one superpower, what superpower would you choose?

The power to levitate myself or items, because sometimes I can’t carry heavy items. Therefore, I would simply make it levitate and place it where it needs to go.
