Toby Whittaker is the top fundraiser in the UK for the 100 Push-ups A Day Challenge for Cancer Research.

Cancer research is significant for our continued well-being, and 1 in 2 of us will get cancer in our lifetime.* Cancer Research is a charity that relies on fundraising to continue to develop new life-saving treatments that will protect future generations. In the last 20 years of Cancer Research UK, since they started their great work, they have made 120 years of progress for people affected by cancer.

Their latest challenge for 2023 is 100 Push-ups A Day throughout November, and Group First Managing Director Toby Whittaker took up the challenge to raise vital funds. He set up a JustGiving page to collect donations, receiving over £2000 before the challenge started.

Toby was absolutely delighted to finish the month with £10,000 contributed + £1,891.25 Gift Aid – which puts him number 1 in the UK out of 8,868 participants!

The overall challenge has raised £1,156,840.45 + £231,914.07 Gift Aid, which is fantastic and will go a long way to helping fund further research.
