Store First staff have been making new business contacts at two exhibitions.

The self-storage team from Ellesmere Port Store First exhibited at the Chester Business Show, while our Burnley storage centre team represented the company at the Expo North West.

The events, both of which were organised by Hashtag Media, enabled the self-storage teams to make new connections in the business world, as well as communicating how storage centres can be a beneficial business base for a range of companies.

The Chester Business Show, which was held at the Crowne Plaza in Chester, was attended by Store First Ellesmere Port centre manager Chris Hawker and assistant manager Tim Cresswell.

Meanwhile, the Expo North West exhibition at Turf Moor, Burnley FC's football stadium, was attended by Burnley self-storage centre manager Toby Stockton.

Toby said: "The event went really well. We had a bucket of padlocks and invited delegates to guess how many were there, with a prize for the closest guess.

"The event was great for awareness and we were by the far the busiest stall. We look forward to next year's event."

Speaking about the Chester Business Show, Ellesmere Port self-storage manager Chris Hawker said: "We gave away our promotional branded sunglasses and they went down a treat - we were the talk of the business fair as everyone loved the idea of them doubling up as bottle openers."

After the success of the two events, the Ellesmere Port and Burnley teams have already signed up for next year's events, with the first - Chester Business Show - taking place earlier in the year, in March 2020.

Business customers using self-storage centres like Store First as their base can benefit from a range of facilities, including delivery acceptance, WiFi, printing, workstations, boardroom hire and kitchens with free tea and coffee.

Ellesmere Port storage centre manager Chris said: "Our business customers can create a big impression on their clients by using us as their base - it gives them somewhere professional to meet people and can help self-employed people who previously worked from home to create a better balance between their work and home lives.

"We urge any SMEs looking for a professional business base, with storage facilities included, to come and have a look at their nearest centre to find out how a storage centre could benefit the day to day running of their business."
