Store Manager Andrew Griffiths has really taken up the challenge to put his new Self-Storage Manchester site on the map. Andrew is a keen cyclist and over the next few months will be carrying out various grueling cycling challenges to raise some money for the British Heart Foundation

Below are details of the challenges:

When: 14 June 2015

Where: Cardiff

Event: Velothon Wales

Distance: 140km

Setting off in the heart of Cardiff City Centre, travelling on 140km of closed roads through some of Wales’ most breath-taking and hilly scenery, before heading back to the finish line at Cardiff Castle.

When: 28 June 2015

Where: Manchester

Event: Greater Manchester Cycle

Distance: 83km

A unique mass participation cycling event over a city-based circuit within Manchester. The course is cclosed to all other vehicles, with the start line, lapping point, and finish located in the Etihad Campus. Home to Manchester City FC, the Campus will also host the bustling event village which includes cycle industry professionals, charity partners, as well as entertainment and food concessions,

When: 2 August 2015

Where: London

Event: Prudential Ride London Surrey 100

Distance: 160km

Setting off from Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park heading through the centre of London, down to the leafy Surrey Hills, following the same route as the 2012 London Olympic Road Race, and then heading back to London to the finish line across The Mall.

When: 26-27 September 2015

Where: Manchester Trafford Centre

Event: Manchester to Blackpool Night Ride

Distance: 80km

Setting off from the Trafford Centre on Saturday night, leaving the lights of Manchester behind and make your way through sleepy Lancashire countryside, before reaching the finish line at Blackpool Tower, to be greeted by a dazzling display of illuminations on Blackpool’s seafront.

Andrew has set himself a target of £500 to raise for the British Heart Foundation and everyone at Store First wishes him the best of luck for this great cause.
