Store First and 2BR Christmas Food Appeal

Here at Store First, we take our corporate social responsibility seriously; mainly because we just love to help a good cause.

This Christmas, we've teamed up with Lancashire's premiere local radio station, 2BR, to promote their 2016 Christmas Food Appeal in support of Spacious Place Engage.

Spacious Place Engage Ltd is an innovative Social Enterprise, specialising in engagement with some of the most vulnerable local people. They provide stability and support, aiming to assist vulnerable individuals in their journeys from points of genuine need to places of hope and opportunity.

Spacious Place Engage understands that life can often close in on people and surround them with restrictions. Their aim is to focus on an individual's strengths and resilience to help them to create the space to move away from need. They do this by encouraging independence and empowering transformation. Based in Burnley, East Lancashire, their work is focused primarily on the local community in Lancashire, whilst still addressing national needs and issues.

So, this Christmas, 2BR have launched a food appeal to help the Spacious Place Engage food bank during their busiest time of year, and Store First are proud to be the main sponsor for the appeal.

Not only that, but we also have opened three of our local storage centres to be used as food drop-off points for the appeal. You can see a list of all the Food Appeal drop off points below.
