Sam gears up to lose pounds for pounds

Sam from our self storage store at Barnsley is throwing his weight behind a charity challenge this month which will see him attempt to shed pounds for a great cause.

Barnsley Hospice's Accumulator Challenge encourages local businesses to make a loan of £28 accumulate as much money in fundraising as possible. So, when Store First Barnsley signed up to take part, store manager Sam decided to turn pounds into pounds in a unique spin on the challenge.

Today, Sam will step onto the scales for his first official weigh-in. It will be observed by willing witnesses, in the form of his trusty Store First colleagues. The results will be recorded down as his starting weight.

From then on, Sam will be devoting all of his efforts into healthy eating and exercise.

At the end of the month, Sam will face the scales for a final time. His official end weight will be recorded on 28 February.

He is asking friends, colleagues and customers to sponsor him a pound for every pound he loses throughout the month of February. Alternatively, you can simply donate a fixed amount of your choice.
