An 18-year-old entrepreneur is taking the business world by storm - with a helping hand from our storage team at Burnley.

Jodie's father, Andrew, set up a storage unit at Store First Burnley, to help his 18-year-old entrepreneur daughter in her new venture 12 months ago. Since then, Jodie's business has gone from strength to strength.

Pods Photo Booth is a great, lively new business started around a year ago, by Jodie. Jodie is young, vibrant and full of enthusiasm and flair. And when it comes to a great party, she certainly knows how to create a vibrant buzz. Jodie, whilst studying at Burnley College in Health and Social Care, was looking for part time work to help with her driving lessons. After her dad Andrew booked a photo booth for his birthday and was let down, Jodie suggested that this could be a new business venture that she could run. Jodie used Store First, Burnley, as her base of operations as it’s local, affordable and she feels supported by the great management team who are always happy for her to demonstrate her booths to prospective customers in the meeting rooms.

Having had Jodie and her business as a tenant for some time, she recently approached us to see if she could have the use of our reception area to hold an open day for prospective clients, of course, we were only too happy to help, and the day was a huge success!

After the event, we spoke to Jodie’s Dad about Jodie, her business and how Store First have helped them.

Here’s what he had to say:

“First of all, I’d like to everyone at Store First for today. Since she started about 12 months ago, she has already expanded to three photo booths and is now booked up almost every weekend for events in Burnley, Preston and as far as Blackpool.”

“Jodie always ensures that the guests get a personalised experience and is always on hand to offer support and guidance. The booths that she provides have the latest SLR cameras and digital printers ensuring that you get the perfect picture when you strike that pose. She even offered MarryOke which allows guests to sing along to a favourite song that is then edited and given to the party organiser on the same evening on a branded USB drive.

“Every guest who goes into the booth gets a free digital print and also options for keyring and phone cases too!”

Jodie also has LED wall washers that can be hired out to create that perfect evening environment for any party.
